P&G came to us with a specific rebrand problem: how do we represent our Clear Gel product on pack and feature the form in a new and authentic way? With fresh eyes, our solution was pretty simple and clear. Print the label on clear plastic. Mic drop. Not so fast. Then we applied this treatment to a master brand approach, tying color to scent and shape to role. After this project our client gifted us the rest of the APDO forms, so we could help the brand get in the door at key big box retailers. And we smiled.

Background:
Trying to remain relevant within a changing retail landscape, Avery seeks to forge more emotional relationships with their customers by shifting from a product orientation to a greater emphasis on benefit. This evolution will also help Avery differentiate itself further from product-focused competitors of all sizes.
Idea:
Reposition the brand as more than a label. By building in more technology and innovation, we have more features, more benefits and more value to put our customers first. Avery is More Than A Label. To support this strategy and make it ownable, we utilized the actual products to deliver the message in an authentic and concise way.
